As a personal project, I am designing state flags for Indian states. India lacks any individual flags for any of the them, and a multicultural society such as her can have so many potentially interesting displays of heritage. This is simply an exploration of that with no political motivations.

The proposed flag of Delhi NCR encapsulates the Tiranga within the chakra, to signify the central location and importance of the capital. The colors used for the flag for Delhi are the same as the flag of the nation itself, and the circular motif is used to express centrality as well as the famous circular structure of central Delhi. The Emblem of India sits in the middle as the representation of the seat of government in the city.

The proposed flag for the state of West Bengal proudly represents the Royal Bengal Tiger on a yellow and green background representing the state's natural forests and beauty. The green is a part of the seal of the state of West Bengal, whereas the yellow is from the Bengal Yellow flowers. The color green is historically important to the state, but is offset by the yellow to create a distinctly traditional yet modern look.
